Whether I am working as a manager, designer, or welder, I understand that every part of the process is crucial to the final success. About Me

My name is Petr Appelt. I am 49 years old and work as a self-employed welder and pipefitter, specializing in welding and installing standard, boiler, and stainless steel pipes (FM1-6). I hold both a free trade license for metal welding and a regulated license for plumbing work. Since 2007, I have been working alternately in the Czech Republic and Sweden.

I started my career in 2005 at LKH Liberecké Kotlárny Holter, a Czech company specializing in high-pressure boilers and other pressure parts, mainly for power plants.

In 2007, I began working in Sweden for AMEC Foster Wheeler, focusing on repairs and reconstruction of fluidized bed boilers. I worked on various projects in Sweden until 2017 for companies such as AMEC Foster Wheeler, Andritz, Orab, and Yit. I also worked intermittently in the Czech Republic, mainly on pre-fabrication of boilers and piping systems for pressure vessels.

Since 2017, I have specialized in welding stainless steel piping systems, gaining extensive experience in installing and building piping systems for various projects, including water tanks, large cooling systems, compressed gas distribution, and breweries.

In international projects, I communicate in English, ensuring smooth interactions with workers, project managers, engineers, and designers. I also have practical experience in managing smaller projects and teams.
